Total Health accepts cash, checks or credit card payments at the time of service. Office visits are available for advance purchase at a discount package rate (ie. series of 5 acupuncture treatments). Please call 805-682-6492 to inquire about pre-paid package discounts.
Health Insurance
Insurance coverage varies from one plan to another. Total Health does not bill insurance directly. At your request we will provide a super-bill for you to provide to your insurance carrier for partial reimbursement.
Questions to ask your insurance provider:
- Is acupuncture covered under your specific policy?
- What is the rate/percentage of reimbursement for acupuncture?
- How many treatments are reimbursable per ailment/calendar year?
- Is acupuncture covered for your specific ailment/complaint?
- Are there any other limitations to be aware of?
